Directions & Procedures

All team charter flights on Delta Airlines, both in and out of Portland, depart out of Atlantic Aviation.

Procedures

1. Any luggage you want checked below the plane must be placed on the luggage carts which are located on the sidewalk towards the front of the Atlantic Aviation building.

2. Once you have dropped checked luggage on to the luggage cart, please drive to the gate and the Director of Team Security will check you in for the flight.

3. Once you are waved you in, proceed through the gate to the tarmac area. Turn left and head towards the plane to the parking area. The route to the plane will be coned off to guide you.

4. After parking your vehicle, please grab your carry-on items and have your picture ID ready.

5. Show your picture ID to the security agent checking people in for the flight, they will clear you to board.

6. Please be on the plane and in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME.

Plane Seating Chart & Bus Assignments

1. Seating charts will be sent out to all traveling staff during the pre-season, and early regular season trips, so that people know where they are sitting for each flight.

2. Seating charts will also be sent out when sponsorship and other select guests are on the team plane.

3. Bus assignments will be sent out via the Teamworks App, so that players and travel staff know which buses to board.

Airport Speed Reminder

Please watch your speed both on Airport Way and once you go through the Atlantic Aviation gate to the tarmac area. The Airport police watch speeds closely in these areas and our tarmac access and plane side parking can be removed at any time if speed rules are violated.
